Electroplating has been at the core of our business since we started and we currently electroplate using gold only as this is a luxurious and desirable metal for a wide range of purposes. This includes, industrial, antique and for decorative purposes.
Our electroplating work has been applied to mobile phones, vehicles, trophies and bespoke gifts.
Each project that we undertake can vary, depending of the size of the item, type of base metal and the general condition of the item.
Turnaround times vary, as we always suggest looking at the item either via images or up close in person. We will then be able to give you an accurate turnaround time as well as a confirmed price for the overall work involved.
Swarovski have proven time and time again to be the finest crystal elements on the market today. This is due to their perfect cut, sparkle and their wide range of beautiful colours.
We use genuine Swarovski elements from official suppliers in the UK, whereby on every project each crystal element is placed onto the surface of the item by hand.
The end result is simply a 'Work of art'.
Our past projects include; phone cases, vehicle interiors, jewellery, art projects and more.
For special custom work; pricing and turnaround times can vary, these will only be confirmed once we have seen the item and have discussed your project with you in detail.
Gold filled Jewellery
Gold filled jewellery is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold on to a base metal layer. usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 14ct gold meaning that it is 5% 14ct gold by weight.
So compared to gold plating which is thinner and less durable, gold filled jewellery has a more stronger and longer lasting effect, which is ideal for jewellery.
The overall benefits of using 14ct gold filled jewellery;
- low in cost
- doesn't wear easily
- resistant to tarnishing
- has a 5% gold value
